Watch Your Step | Safe Step Walk-in Tubs
Role: Producer, cinematographer, content editor

01
Creative Pitch
Tasked with creative a :60 national television ad, I was a part of a small team to conceptualize and pitch a handful of creative avenues. The client eagerly chose “Watch Your Step” as it can be built into a campaign spanning multiple audience groups. I had to pre-visualize and create a visual aide for the pitch to give the client a tangible look to believe in.
02
Previsualization
This concept was complex. We had to span four decades in time while remaining true those periods and honoring a look and feel. As a result, it was essential to previsualize every asset of the production to keep a handle on all the moving parts.

Nostalgia:
Warmth & welcoming
Adopted into contemporary design
& higher design
Timeless appeal

03
Storyboard
Once the script was written and client approved, I create a storyboard. A storyboard gets my head in a visual mindset of the finished video before I ever get behind a camera. It is the roadmap that guided the journey from script to screen. It is also a great tool to keep the client informed throughout the pre-production process.
04
Scouts & Shotlist & Schedules
Over the course of a month I was entrenched in this project. Balancing attending location scouts and creating the shotlists, shot schedules and call sheets. I was the lead point of contact for all crew working on this production. This part of production is a lot of spinning plates.

05
Production Week
The crew and I shot across an entire week: two days dedicated to building the bathtub setup on a sound stage, two days of studio production, two days on location.
